Meet the team

A native of Lantz, Thane began work in auto body repair as a young man, and enjoyed it so much he eventually “took the trade” at the Colchester Regional Vocational College in Truro.  He completed his MVRT (Motor Vehicle Repair Technician), qualifications in 1981 and went to work for a local auto body shop to gain practical experience.  In 1988 he and co-worker Robert Wilson decided it was time to strike out on their own and they opened R/T Auto Body on Isenor Road in Lantz.  As business grew they eventually moved to the current location in Elmsdale. 

Despite spending most of his work time in a garage, Thane is a keen outdoorsman, and enjoys fishing & hunting in his spare time.
